John Min is the Chief Economist at Monex USA, where he works with corporate clients to mitigate and manage their foreign exchange (FX) risks. Before joining Monex USA, he was the Founder and Chief Economist at World First USA and served as the Vice President of Sales at Ruesch International, an international financial institution based in Washington, D.C. Throughout his career, John has consulted for companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Everbank, Management Concepts, Western Union, AFEX and Ebury. Outside of work, John teaches economics at Northern Virginia Community College and advises startup Fintechs, including 1Konto and Clearshift. He earned his MBA from George Washington University and his Doctorate in Economics from George Mason University.

Peter Tapling is an advisor, board member and investor at the intersection of payments, risk and emerging technologies. Prior to founding PTap Advisory, LLC, Peter served as CCO for Spring Labs, CRO for Early Warning Services and was the founding CEO for Authentify. Peter serves as a strategic advisor and board member for several technology companies with businesses in AI, identity, risk management and payment enablement across instant payments, cards, ACH, digital currencies, wires and cross-border. Peter serves on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Faster Payments Council, the Board of Regents for The Payments Institute, as a technology advisor to the Board of Directors for ePayResources and was a member of the Federal Reserve Scams Information Sharing work group. He leads the Directory Models Work Group for the Faster Payments Council and is the project team leader for the Payments Innovation Alliance Quantum in Payment team. Peter is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals, an Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) and an Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP).

Jessica Washington is an assistant vice president in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where she oversees economic studies to foster an accessible, efficient, safe, and stable financial system. Jessica strategically leads a team of experts through data-driven inquiry and industry collaboration to produce policy-relevant insights. Among the resources made available to the public, Jessica is responsible for the Federal Reserve Payments Study, the Survey and Diary of Consumer Payment Choice, and other original payments research covering critical topics related to financial services. 

Jessica also serves as a sought-after subject matter expert, regularly speaking and engaging with the industry. She currently serves on the Federal Reserve System’s Payments Researchers Steering Committee and the ePay Resources Board of Directors. Jessica started her career in payments with the Georgia Automated Clearing House Association, now PaymentsFirst, where she grew to serve as senior vice president and an industry thought leader.

A native of Massachusetts, she earned her bachelor's degree in English from Florida State University, where she recently served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. She attended Harvard Business School, Leadership for Senior Executives and earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Prosci Change Management Certification and the Accredited ACH Professional Certification.
