Suzy Morris, Senior Vice President, Head of Treasury Management, Peoples National Bank, is one of the newest EPCOR Board of Directors members.

In her position at Peoples National Bank (PNB), Suzy is responsible for evaluating new concepts and technologies to ensure products and services are firmly grounded for PNB and its clients. Additionally, Suzy focuses on risk management and implementation to help set clients up for success. She explained, “The journey can include a consultative approach reviewing how payments are handled to help them gain control, better manage their cash flow and reduce expenses.”

Prior to entering the payments world, Suzy started out in retail, which provided her with a strong foundation of customer service and transaction processing. After finding success in retail, an opportunity with a growing bank in St. Louis became available, and Suzy jumped at the opportunity. She went on to say, “That opportunity helped me deepen my knowledge of technology with payments and the overall benefits it can provide for businesses.”

Suzy is excited to be serving on the board, and shared, “EPCOR has an amazing infrastructure built around payments, which includes education and advisory services. Over the years, their Knowledge Community has been improved to reach various levels within banking organizations. I hope EPCOR continues to expand upon their online portal to target various levels with the knowledge that they need to increase their payment volume and ensure they are compliant.”

In business, Suzy is most passionate about education and payments. she tries to encourage others to pursue professional development to achieve their goals. In her personal life, Suzy is most passionate about her family and close friends, travel and fashion.
