Welcome to the EPCOR/COCHA Family!
On behalf of the entire EPCOR organization, thank you to the COCHA Board of Directors and members for the confidence they have placed in EPCOR to enhance and expand COCHA and the Alert Service. As the new Management Member of COCHA, approved by a majority vote of the members on October 2, 2019, EPCOR is assuming responsibility for day-to-day operations of COCHA, the Alert Service and the billing service effective November 1, 2019. Our initial focus will be on enhancing website functionality and expanding the number of institutions participating in the Alert Service. Next year, we will be bringing new fraud and risk education programs to Oklahoma and plan to reinstate the salary survey.
In the next few days, you will notice an updated logo on the COCHA Alert Service webpage. Beginning on November 1, phone calls placed to 405-601-8052 and emails to ALERTS@COCHA.org and ContactUs@COCHA.org will be answered by the EPCOR staff. By mid-November, COCHA.org will be redirected to a new COCHA page on the EPCOR.org website.
For those institutions that are EPCOR members, you will no longer be charged COCHA annual dues. The COCHA Board has established the 2020 annual subscription fee for the Alert Service at $750.00. You will receive your Alert Service subscription fee invoice in early January.
If you are not acquainted with EPCOR, we are a not-for-profit payments association that provides payments expertise through education, advice and member representation to more than 1,800 banks, credit unions, thrifts and affiliated organizations, including 205 institutions in Oklahoma. We exist to assist our members in maintaining compliance, reducing risk and fraud and enhancing the overall operational efficiency of the payment systems. With the approved changes to the COCHA bylaws, EPCOR is positioned to enhance and expand the services your institution is currently receiving as a COCHA member and further our role assisting financial institutions in mitigating risk and fraud.
We look forward to serving you and fighting fraud together.
